This is the scenery of the Islamorada, FL. area.
These are pictures of the "Cay's".  These islands are located between U.S.A. and Cuba.  This light house is abandon now, but a person used to live on this island in the early 1900's just to light the beacon.  We fished here over-night.
Most of these fish below were caught in the Cays.  We caught Yellowtail fish, Strawberry grouper, Wahoo, Barracuda, Tuna, and unfortunately some Shark.  It was a fight to get the Yellowtail up to the surface before a Shark would devour it.  I had blisters from reeling so fast.
The Dolphin Fish are the bigger green fish below.  They have a beautiful color to them right out of the water.  I only had one picture of that.  We try to catch as many Dolphin as we can because their life span is 5 years.  So they multiply at huge rates.  A Dolphin Fish is known as Mahi-Mahi when you order it in restaurants because people in the Midwest would think they were eating "Flipper".
These are the Sharks we caught.  We didn't bring them to the boat though because these Shark aren't very good eating.  Usually when a shark hit the line (while reeling in a fish) you would have to hurry and cut the line.  It was either that, or you would have to reel him in just to get your line back.
These were Sperm Whales that were out in the ocean.  They were just floating in the water.  Not swimming at all.  There must have been 50 of them, but I was so shocked, I didn't even get a picture until we were driving away.  The Capt. said they were doing the nasty, but that was his take on it.
Everyone back at the dock after a long day of fishing.  I think some people fished harder than others.  (requiring a nap)
